Food is cheap

It's still me... Jill.
Is anyone out there sick to death of "5, 5 dollar, 5 dollar foot long"? I love my remote control so that I can turn the channel really quick or mute when that stupid Subway commercial comes on. I always thought it was so stupid to buy a sandwich from Subway, because you can make the same dang sandwich at home! Well, I've kind of changed my mind. After physical therapy, I walk next door to the Subway there and I order a "5, 5 dollar, 5 dollar foot long". $5 for a meal is a good deal, and a sandwich that's toasted is better than one that isn't, and when it's a foot long, well that makes it even better. Bet you could never in a million years figure out what kind of Subway sandwich I eat. Multi-grain bread, foot long, ham, pepper jack cheese (toasted), bell peppers, cucumbers, black olives, and a little bit of honey mustard. Did you guess it? No, I didn't think you would. I ate 6" of it for lunch and the other 6" for supper.

Did you know that you can buy a large pepperoni pizza for $5 at Little Ceasar's? Well you can, and you don't need a coupon even! And if you want extra stuff on it, just chop up some green bell peppers and black olives, sprinkle 'em on the pizza and cook for a few minutes - excellent, and it's only $5, and you can make 2 to 3 meals out of it! It's a very good buy.
What about Taco Bell?! Holy cow! You can get 3 crispy tacos and a bean burrito for under $5! I guarantee that will fill you up in a jiffy pop!!

I hate to cook, but here's something I've been thinking I might make - fix some corkscrew noodles, and prepare some broccoli, buy a roasted chicken breast from KFC and shred it up or chop it up, then pour some bottle Alfredo sauce on top of all of it, mix together, heat in the oven or in a skillet. You can buy the same thing at the grocery store in the frozen food department, but I don't care for their Alfredo sauce.
Man, why am I so hungry??
Here's a picture of my #1 Grandson,
Faolan. He's now a Karate Kid.
Just thought I throw this in for good measure!
